What is the max RPM that the JRSC is rated for?
I have a 2000 ITR. I plan on moving redline to at least 9k depending what dyno says.

I highly doubt your gonna gain anything by raising your revlimiter with a roots type supercharger on your Type R. The only thing i see you gaining is a head or bottom end job. When you float a valve a 10psi boost at 9000RPMS and that piston introduces itself to few of its favorite valves, it wont be fun, but it'll sound cool!
If youll look at an average dyno plot with a JRSC, youll notice the torque quits climbing about 1500rpms before redline and goes down, whereas the HP just seems to even out, maybe you make 5 more hp
My car worked best shifting at 8000rpms in first, then 2nd-4th(1/8th mile drag racing), id shift around 7800. Running to redline did nothing but slow me down.

Well, good luck......if your toruqe has started falling or flattened out, a few extra HP isnt really gonna help. Other than the fact of you can say, "Yea, my redline is at 9000 now!"

I do need the extra RPMs a autocross here in town. I redline 3rd with about 15-20 feet of track left. I have to bump the rev-limit, which I don't like to do or shift again, which takes a tenth or 2 off my time. I know the engine can handle it. I just wanted to know if the JRSC was up for the job.

Holy SHIT! I need to come autocross with you guys!!! Some of our setups are 1st gear only's Still though, id say you have a "gate" or some sort of slow down turn(s) right before your timing lights to kinda get you under control. Seems like a good alternative would be just to pick the higher gear, 4th in your case, and just drive through the turns before the straight(this would also keep the car a little more stable on entry/exits).
Damn, redlining 3rd gear......sometimes i hate my SCCA dvision

The gate is after the timing lights. The course as 2 places I need that extra little bit. I will put it on the dyno after I get the new stuff put in and let you know.
